Alex Knowles is chronically curious. She’s danced on stage in an underground jazz bar in Havana and taste-tested battered crocodile in South Africa. She can ask “Where is the bathroom?” in half a dozen languages and enjoys reading translated fiction from around the world.
Alex is an Australian novelist and screenwriter with degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing. She joined the book publishing industry in 2016 and has experience across a wide range of lists, including adult fiction/non-fiction, children’s and illustrated books. As a freelance journalist, Alex was the go-to reporter on which books have been charting in the UK for The Bookseller but, all the while, she has been cooking up ideas for her own bestsellers.
